Discover Our Journey So Far

Why we do what we do
Life on the farm wasn’t always in Leigh’s sights. Growing up on a farm, she gravitated towards the city lights, building a successful career in sales and eventually transitioning to nutirition industry. However, her 7 years spent surrounded by illness in the industry sparked a personal transformation. Leigh embarked on a journey towards healthier living, embracing whole foods and eventually adopting an animal-based (AB) diet.
This newfound passion for healthy food blossomed into a deeper connection with its source: the land itself. Leigh became fascinated with biodynamic practices, permaculture principles, syntropic farming, and the holistic approach of cell grazing and natural farming.
Fueled by a passion to heal the land and grow wholesome food naturally, Leigh swapped her power suit for comfy shorts and a connection to the earth (barefoot, of course!).
Our farm is a testament to Leigh’s dedication. Today, we are home to a thriving herd of over 40 Charolais cattle, alongside playful goats, 1.5 horses, and a flock of happy hens. We believe in ethical animal husbandry – our animals are raised naturally, without the use of chemicals, vaccinations, or drenches. We follow the teachings of Pat Coleby, prioritising natural and holistic animal care, emphasising prevention over intervention.
While we don’t hold any formal certifications, our commitment goes beyond labels. We consider ourselves stewards of the land, dedicated to nurturing the soil, promoting biodiversity, and raising healthy, happy animals. Leigh’s dedication to natural methods extends to managing the land. Instead of heavy machinery that compacts the soil, she uses a forestry-grade brushcutter for weed control.
Our story is one of passion, transformation, and a deep respect for nature’s bounty. We invite you to explore our farm and connect with the source of your food – a place where healthy practices meet happy animals and the land thrives.
